  Welcome
to
Bremerton Rotary Club's web site. Explore our site and find out
more about the City of Bremerton, Kitsap County, a little bit about
our state and especially Bremerton Rotary and Rotary
International.
Since 1941 the
Bremerton Rotary has been active in the local community as well
as many other communities around the world. Visit these links to
view past, present and future Bremerton Rotary service projects
and fund raisers. Double click on any of these subjects: Wild
Game Dinner, Mulege Water
Project, Foreign
Exchange Students, and the Evergreen
Rotary Park project, just to mention a few.
Bremerton,
Washington is located on the Kitsap Peninsula in the center
of the Puget Sound, in Washington State, USA. Our beautiful city
is surrounded by water on three sides, with the fjord called the
Hood Canal to our west and south, and the Puget Sound to our east.
Those bodies of water are shadowed by Seattle and the Cascade mountain
range to the east and the Olympic Mountains to our immediate west.
The City of Bremerton
is the home to Naval
Base Kitsap, a consortium of Naval Bases, formally known as
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), Sub(marine) Base Bangor , Keyport
Torpedo Station and Manchester Refueling Depot. McChord
Air Force Base and Fort
Lewis (army) are 40 miles to our south and NAS
(Naval Air Station) Whidbey to the north.
We are very proud of our public
school system, with Bremerton
High School carrying the flag for the 5,700 student district.
Olympic College
is a JC (Junior College) serving over 12,000 students per year.
Whether you are a Rotary member from another club or are interested
in becoming a member, we would like to extend an invitation to you
to attend one of our meetings held at noon each Monday at the Kitsap
Conference Center. Come meet our Rotarians over lunch, listen to
our guest speakers and see why Rotary continues as such a vibrant
organization.
Yours in Rotary,
Steve Landau,
President
Rotary Club of Bremerton, Washington.
